JULY 20, 2020 – Pamarco is pleased to announce several leadership appointments within our company. Jack Mikolajczyk, Thomas Wixted, David Drozd, Larry Campbell and Roger Schisel have all been appointed to new positions – we are happy to share details about each of them in the introductions below. As a company, we are excited to see the impact that these proven leaders will have on our future.
David Drozd is the VP of Manufacturing for our flexo division and responsible for all five of our plants in North America. David states, “As the VP, I aim to maintain our high standards of operation with the use of capital equipment investments, process improvements and training/continued education of a highly skilled workforce.” Dave has been in the anilox business for thirty-nine years, holding positions from machinist to plant manager. Living in the Atlanta area, he enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with his wife and children.
Thomas Wixted is the Plant Manager at our new Batavia facility. In manufacturing management for over twenty-five years, he has held positions ranging from director of operations to manufacturing director. When asked how he feels about his new role, Thomas replied, “I am excited about the challenge of taking Batavia into the future with great success. We have high hopes for a fresh company culture and KPI achievements, and we’re happy to be able to do it all in our newly built facility.” Thomas enjoys spending time with his three children (Patrick, Alex, and Emily), his lovely girlfriend Yasuko, and his two pets – a parrot named Jax and a Boston Terrier named Pete. His hobbies include riding his motorcycles, boating and fishing, and spending time at his cabin.
Roger Schisel has over nineteen years of experience in anilox manufacturing and is the Plant Manager at our Atlanta facility. Coming to the company after over seventeen years at an anilox manufacturer, he is committed to bringing Atlanta to a new level of efficiency in the coming days. Roger spends his free time with his wife of twenty-two years, Nancy, and their three children. Together, they enjoy volunteering to foster dogs and cats. His hobbies include boating, biking, and motorcycle riding.
Larry Campbell has been with Pamarco for over forty-one years and is currently serving as Production Manager at our Atlanta facility. He began his career with our company in 1978 as a lathe operator and has held positions in practically every aspect of roll manufacturing in that time. Larry has been married to his wife, Donna, for nearly thirty-nine years. Together they are raising two parakeets named Melody and Buddy. In his free time, Larry enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on classic cars.
Jack Mikolajczyk has been with Pamarco for thirty-four years and is currently the Plant Manager at our Roselle facility. When asked what he’s most excited about with his new position, Jack stated, “These rolls are where old world craftsmanship meets today’s industrial technical standards. What excites me about Roselle is the combined hundreds of years of experience meeting an extensive tooling library and the best engravers around – what a great opportunity to distinguish ourselves in the mechanically engraved roll industry.” Jack enjoys spending his free time with his growing family and is proud to announce that he’s a new grandfather! He and his wife, Jan, have three children. Jack also finds time to serve his community as an elected official in educational and political aspects, and he performs regularly as a drummer and singer in a cover band.
