This union provided unique insight and input that was implemented in the final design. Getting consistently correct color on press has long been a thorn in the flexo community’s side. Anilox selection, plate type, substrate, and various other conditions all play a part in hitting LAB targets, but starting with proper, press-ready ink is critical for repeatability and increasing productivity. Utilizing their well-known hand proofers and hand proofers with doctor blades in this automatic system removes operator inconsistencies and stabilizes output.
